Tadarise

Common use

Tadarise tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.

Dosage and direction

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tadarise may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. The medicine when taken for ED will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. You should take it about one hour before you plan to have sex. The amount of time it takes to work varies from person to person, but it normally takes between 30 minutes and one hour. Only take it if you need it and it has been prescribed to you by a doctor.

Precautions

Do not take this medicine if you have severe heart or liver problems, if you have recently had a stroke or heart attack or if you have low blood pressure. Let your doctor know if you suffer from these or any other health problems before taking it. You should not drive if this medicine makes you feel dizzy. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can lead to side effects.
It is preferable not to use Tadarise with grapefruit juice, alcoholic beverages, tobacco. If you smoke tobacco and take Tadarise concomitantly this may lead to a condition called NAION (sudden optic nerve-related vision loss).

Contraindications

Tadarise tablet can be dangerous to take it along with medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Possible side effect

The most common side effects of this medicine are flushing, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, stomach upset, nausea, back pain, and respiratory tract infection. Talk to your doctor if the side effects bother you or will not go away.

Drug interaction

Co-administration with medications containing organic nitrates may cause severe hypotension which is dangerous in some cases. Avoid taking Tadarise with medications such as Erythrityl Tetranitrate, Isosorbide Dinitrate, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Nitroglycerin, Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate. Levels and toxicity of Tadarise are increased by erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), indinavir (Crixivan) and ritonavir (Norvir). Inform your doctor if you are taking Atazanavir, Bunazosin, Clarithromycin, Doxazosin, Erythromycin, Indinavir, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Moxisylyte, Nefazodone, Nelfinavir, Phenoxybenzamine, Phentolamine, Prazosin, Saquinavir, Telithromycin, Terazosin, Trimazosin, Urapidil as your Tadarise dose may require correction.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Tadarise tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Overdose

Overdose of causes symptoms described as side effects. Seek for immediate medical help if you by your opinion you took too much of this medication.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from moisture, sunlight, kids and pets in a tight container.
